Buckeye Veterans Coalition PAC Endorses Easton Retzke for Ohio House District 89

SANDUSKY, OH — The Buckeye Veterans Coalition PAC has voted unanimously to endorse Easton Retzke, Democratic candidate for Ohio House District 89, citing strong alignment with Retzke’s commitment to protecting democracy and serving the people of Ohio.

“I am incredibly honored to receive the unanimous endorsement of the Buckeye Veterans Coalition PAC,” said Retzke. “Their support means a great deal to me, especially because of their commitment to protecting our democracy and making sure government remains accountable to the people it serves. I’m proud to have their support and grateful for the trust they have placed in our campaign.”

Retzke said the endorsement is particularly meaningful because of the conversations he has had with veterans throughout the 89th District.

“Throughout this campaign, I’ve had the opportunity to speak with veterans in our communities, and I’ve heard a common concern: too many of them feel like they’ve been left behind,” Retzke said. “After everything our veterans have given in service to our country, they deserve better than to feel forgotten by the government they served to protect. They deserve a representative who will listen to them, take their concerns seriously, and fight for them.”

The Buckeye Veterans Coalition PAC shared that Retzke’s responses to its candidate questionnaire aligned closely with the organization’s mission and its commitment to preserving democracy for the people of Ohio.

“Protecting our democracy is one of the most important responsibilities we have as public servants,” Retzke said. “I believe government works best when it is accountable to the people, responsive to their concerns, and focused on the communities it represents. I’m proud that the Buckeye Veterans Coalition PAC recognizes those values in our campaign.”

Retzke emphasized that supporting veterans must extend beyond campaign promises.

“Once I have the privilege of representing the 89th District in Columbus, I want veterans to know that they will have someone in their corner,” Retzke said. “That means listening, showing up, and working to make sure the promises we make to those who served our country are actually kept.”

The endorsement adds to a growing coalition of labor, education, civic, environmental, and community organizations supporting Retzke’s campaign. His campaign has focused on issues including the cost of living, strengthening public education, affordable housing, economic development, government transparency, and protecting Lake Erie.
